This Fresh Fish is a bit of a departure from my normal offerings. I've decided to build a Concert Model guitar, but with a twist. This one will be built with back and sides of mahogany, which I have never used for a guitar body. The soundboard will be Engelmann spruce which I favor for its warmth and even tone. I expect the guitar to be a bit dryer sounding than my usual Concert Model built with Brazilian or Indian rosewood. The 25.4 inch scale combined with Concert Model size gives the guitar good balance with plenty of volume.
