Welcome to the digital window into Andersen Stringed Instruments. I've been handcrafting acoustic instruments since 1973 in both the mandolin and the guitar families. I invite you to join me and explore my little shop here on the web as you learn about the instruments I make as well as why I make them.
In addition to building new instruments, I do repair and set-up of guitars and mandolins. Specialties include installing and adjusting magnetic pickups on jazz guitars, finish touch-up, fret-work and structural repair.
