Metropolitan 7-string

  • Price: $6800

    Metropolitan 7 String 17″ body.

Serial No. 145 built in 1992

This is the first 7 string guitar I built in 1992. The Art Deco design element is an homage to the pioneers of archtop guitar design and construction. The seven-string archtop is an iconic instrument in jazz guitar music. This is a good sounding guitar that has been well cared for and is in very good condition. I recently re-fretted it and it plays very easy. The western maple is very highly figured. The top is wide-grain Engelmann spruce from North Idaho
